The Wimbledon dial isn't just a dial configuration but a symbol to mark a historic partnership formed in 1978; between Wimbledon, the oldest & most prestigious tennis tournament in the world and Rolex, who became their official timekeeper ever since. This rare yet unique dial was introduced in 2009 on the DJ2 and is now available on the Datejust 41 lineup only; Tennis living legend, Roger Federer, wears a similar piece albeit a different configuration (126333; "Yellow Rolesor" on an Oyster Bracelet). The Datejust 41 comes with a new Caliber 3235 movement, which has 90% new parts & better efficiency over it's predecessor - providing the watch with a 70-hour power reserve along with a longer recommended service interval of 10 years. The union of White Gold on a Fluted bezel and Stainless Steel on a Jubilee bracelet makes this combination a real head-turner whilst radiating a sense of regalness along the way.
