Sounds like a pleasant guy initially. Said I couldn't test before pickup, but assured me it was fully working. It was faulty right out of the box with key functions disabled, and he just shifted the blame onto me. Seems like a decent gentleman at first, but points fingers when things go wrong. Be very careful.
Follow-up review
Stop deflecting. My issue was Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, not LAN. I sent proof it wasn't working the second I plugged it in. The factory reset was only done after it failed, purely to try and fix it—are you seriously claiming a factory reset breaks hardware? Sending a 9-month-old screenshot isn't proof it worked. If you were so confident, why did you strictly forbid testing on collection? Dishonest guy.
3 days ago (edited)Was clear upfront that the LAN port wasn’t working but Wifi and Bluetooth were. AirPlay and streaming through HEOS were working prior to selling The individual did a factory reset on the unit which would reset everything and recheck everything. Given the LAN port was declared in the posting not working the system would recognise that and wouldn’t pass the diagnostics. This was experienced by the buyer. Screenshot if it working was also provided. Went above and beyond to offer help and info.
