OLGA TOKARCZUK - THE BOOKS OF JACOB (HB)

PHP 300

I paid on Oct. 16, received the book by Oct. 21 and only got to unpack it now. The transaction was smooth. While the book is indeed sealed, I noticed the discoloration that couldn't be looked closer on camera. So I broke it off and now I'm worried. I don't think I would be able to read my copy of 'It Devours!' until I am assured that this is not mold (so it would have to be quarantined) :<

Follow-up review

Thinking about it, I guess I couldn't truly blame them if it was mere discoloration. It was a stock from an NBS sale/clearance (I presume due to the notable Red N sticker at the back). It's fine and doesn't smell weird, but I'd still keep it in isolation for now so my other books doesn't end up being compromised if the worse happens.
