Syahmi is a very knowledgeable and personable teacher who took me for grade 5 rockschool acoustic. He did a good job breaking down concepts and challenging songs, and I feel he was able to take me to the next level of playing. Highly recommend! He's also a funny guy hahahha

Syahmi is an excellent guitar teacher and single handedly he’s been responsible for my not quitting learning the guitar! Previously I had tried to learn on my own from YouTube twice, but I couldn’t sustain…really glad I found a very good teacher in Syahmi. He’s patient and willing to work at my pace, which is important for me as a late learner. Can’t recommend him highly enough!

Have been taking 1.5hr lessons every 2 weeks with Mr Syahmi for about 7 months. Before that, I was self-taught for a year and a half and thought I knew it all. 1st trial lesson was a humbling exp as I was making mistakes that I wouldn't notice if I continued being self taught. I also had multiple trial lessons with other teachers before settling on him as he can play and teach rly technical songs

Friendly and patient teacher. Lessons covered both technical and musical aspects. Helpful in pointing out areas of improvement and providing advice on effective ways to practice. Appreciate the flexibility in scheduling, lessons catered to my interests, and opportunity to clarify doubts/questions post-lesson. Overall, would recommend!

Syahmi has been helpful at pointing out my problem areas, and gives very practical suggestions on how to improve - he is also extremely knowledgeable, and I’m amazed at how our 1.5hr sessions fly by so quickly! The Flexibility and ability to ‘customize’ lessons are great for those who have some basic knowledge on the guitar too - Highly recommended 👍

!!! The only guitar teacher you ever need !!! I decided to pick up guitar again after a 8/9 year gap, and was searching for a teacher that could teach online. Not only was Syahmi very patient to guide me through all the basics, but he gave structured exercises for me to practice between classes. I am his student since July 2021, and I am always looking forward to every class with him. 100/10 !!

Being a beginner, Sam is very patient in explaining the basics and how to play songs. Merging the theory into songs make it interesting to learn the theory, technicalities and techniques. He also follows up closing with my progress and makes sure that I am progressing in skills and knowledge Highly recommended
